Storage Facilities

At Gormans Removals our storage facilities are both Commonwealth and State Government approved. It is our policy to ensure regular fumigation takes place in all our facilities. This, in conjunction with the checks that are carried out regularly gives you complete peace of mind when leaving your belongings in our care.

When your belongings are collected from your residence each item is labelled and a complete inventory taken, with a copy supplied to yourself.

We have two types of storage systems:

"Open Stack" - This is a very effective for short or long-term storage where a professional method of stowing is applied, and your furniture is completely covered and sectioned off.

"Containerisation" - This system is very effective in long-term situations where the goods are professionally packed in storage modules (timber modules or steel containers). This provides a dust free environment and also eliminates the risk of items being mixed with other consignments.
