When moving home, whether around the corner or interstate, one of the most important things to remember is to adequately insure your belongings whilst in transit, and if being placed into storage.  The majority of household contents insurance policies do not cover goods whilst in transit, or only provide very basic cover.  Please check this with your insurer.

Marine insurance is available for the protection of your belongings whilst in transit and storage.

This can be arranged by Gormans Removals through Vero Insurance Limited, who provides you with a variety of plain language products, whether you’re moving within Australia or overseas. Policies can be issued on a “Specified Events” or “All Risks” basis, and may be tailored to your individual requirements.
